These Terms of Service apply to your use of 888rentals.nz and every booking made with 888Rentals. By using our website or placing a booking, you agree to these terms and to our full Terms & Conditions at 888rentals.nz/pages/t-c-off, which form part of this agreement.
Using our website
- You must be at least 18, or have permission from a parent or guardian, to book.
- Please provide accurate and complete information when booking.
- Don't misuse the website, attempt to interfere with how it works, or use it for anything unlawful.
- All photos, text and branding on this website belong to 888Rentals or are used with permission, and may not be copied without our consent.
Bookings and payment
- Bookings are only confirmed once full payment is received.
- Garments are hired for 4 or 8 days, as selected when booking.
- Prices, availability and offers may change at any time without notice.
- We may refuse or cancel any booking at our discretion, including where we suspect fraud.
Booking cut-offs
- Postal: by 3pm on the Wednesday before your event.
- Late postal: until 12pm (midday) Thursday, at your own risk.
- Pick-up: until 7pm on the day of your event.
Cancellations and refunds
- Bookings cannot be cancelled once placed.
- Refunds are only given if 888Rentals makes a mistake.
- Store credit may be given where the mistake is the renter's, except where our Terms & Conditions say otherwise.

Returns, late fees and damage
- Rentals must be returned by 12pm (midday) on the first business day after your event.
- Late returns are charged at $20 per garment, per day.
- You are responsible for any damage, cleaning, repair or replacement costs while the garment is in your care, up to the full Recommended Retail Price.
- All garments remain the property of 888Rentals at all times.
Liability
888Rentals is not responsible for courier delays or anything outside our reasonable control. Our total liability for any booking is limited to the amount you paid for it, except where New Zealand law says otherwise.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other New Zealand law.
Changes
We may update these terms at any time. The version on our website at the time of your booking applies.
Governing law
These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and any dispute is subject to the New Zealand courts.
